Bike Sharing pilot for sustainable transportation in Sneek

In cooperation with the municipality of Súdwest-Fryslân, we have launched a four-month pilot since May 12th 2025 to improve sustainable transportation in Sneek and increase the accessibility of the city centre. The aim of this project is to support a car-free city centre and offer residents and visitors an easy alternative to the car.

With this pilot, we placed ten regular share bikes at the P+R location Zuidersportpark in Sneek. Here, visitors can park for free and use the rental bikes free of charge between 09;00 and 21:00 using the Deelfiets Nederland app. Outside these times, a rate of €1.50 per hour applies, with a maximum of €6 per day. These bicycles are always available.

We look forward to taking the step towards cleaner transportation together with the Súdwest-Fryslân municipality.
