FIrst four Tandem hubs officially in use in Drenthe!
The launch of the first four Tandem hubs marks an important step in the further development of shared mobility in Drenthe. The first hubs have recently become operational in the municipalities of De Wolden, Meppel, and Westerveld.
As partner of Tandem Deelmobiliteit, Deelfiets Nederland supplies the e-bikes, the associated hardware and the app that allows users to easily rent, lock and unlock a shared bike. In addition, we offer a comprehensive digital platform that manages the entire bike sharing system. From bicycle management and user management to reporting and insights into usage: our software forms the base for a user-friendly, efficient and reliable shared mobility solution.
Together with Tandem Deelmobiliteit, the province of Drenthe and the relevant local municipalities, we are working on a network of bike sharing hubs that makes sustainable transport more accessible to residents and visitors. The e-bikes offer aa practical alternative to short and medium distance trips, for example from and to a station, an appointment, for work or a leisure destination.
A network that keeps growing
The first four hubs mark the starting point for the further roll-out across the region. In the upcoming period, new locations will be added and the network will be expanded in collaboration with local municipalities, businesses and other organisations. This will create a stronger regional bike sharing system that integrates with public transport and other forms of mobility.
